Step1 : Assessment
The crucial first step in our Customer Business Focus Methodology is a customized assessment where we partner with you to determine each and every process improvement possibility by assessing your needs and defining a solution that best suits your organization.
Step 2: Development
During the Development phase DTI will present a prototype of the final solution for your acceptance. Once the prototype presentation has been viewed, DTI will make any required changes and request sign off and then begin the deployment phase.
Step 3: Deployment
At this phase, we will begin the delivery and installation of the accepted solution. During the installation, all software components will be thoroughly tested in order to confirm that all components are working properly. Formal test plans are created and reviewed in our lab as well as onsite with the customer.
Step 4: Knowledge Transfer
Our philosophy is to complete the knowledge transfer to both end users and system administrators allowing us to focus on in-depth end user and administrative training. We provide custom documentation and training sessions during the go-live period.
Step 5: Assurance
DTI offers a full range of support services to ensure that you derive maximum benefit from your system integration. Our services include providing custom designed systems, operations manuals, hardware and software warranties, extended maintenance plans, telephone support, and product upgrades.
Step 6: Partnering
After full deployment of the solution, we offer on-going evaluation for process improvements and system enhancement through Partnering. As your business partner, we will make periodic on-site visits to assess results, performance, quality of existing applications, infrastructure, and training.

In today's complex marketplace, the days of the generic implementation and delivery approach are non-existent. DTI’s Solution Methodology has been designed to help organizations select the right application package, tailor it to fit their needs, and integrate it with the business and technical environment where it will operate. During the solution phases, clients are assisted in creating a vision, as well as developing a comprehensive and practical strategy.
The DTI Customer Business Focus (CBF) process provides methods for evaluating, selecting, implementing, and deploying customized application packages. There are numerous scenarios for using the CBF formal process. Here are a few examples:
- A business has identified the need for a system and the implementation of an application package is considered a logical and cost-effective solution
- An existing application package has become obsolete or unusable, and must be replaced
- A gap in automated support of the business has become a critical problem and needs to be remedied quickly
The CBF process allows for a systematic approach from the assessment to the implementation phase. This formal process ensures that we identify and deliver solutions that best suit your organizations' strategic vision and goals. The CBF process consists of six steps demonstrated in the diagram above.
